Peace, beauty and reflection….. We have had a summer full of sweet flavored peas, beautiful flowers and no time for reflextion. All rainfree days has been used for haymaking and the strawberry and raspberry season was a disaster. Cherries, currants and gooseberries did well, and now we enjoy harvesting vegetables from our garden.
This is the motto of our tourist business and also the activities on the farm. Kroken is a remote and peaceful place, a place to relax – and to enjoy the great beauty of nature – fjord, mountains, glacier, farms, waterfalls, woods and cultural landscape. We also want to present information about this area so you can learn more.
In 1996 David and his dad created our vetle-kroken.com web page. We offered sea kayak trips, guided tours along the fjord and in the surrounding mountains, the outskirts of Jotunheimen. The “stabbur” on the farm was used for accomodation for tourists.
